Jorge Allyson Azevedo was born in Lavras, Minas Gerais - Brasil. He became graduated from Federal University of Juiz de Fora in 1999. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2002 from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a member of the LAND (Laboratory for Modeling, Analysis and Development of Networks and Computer System), where he has been working on a Reliable Multicast framework. This framework is implemented in a Whiteboard tool. This tool is a module of Tangram-II environment. Nowadays, he is working on a project regarding distance learning using video on demand and teleconference tools developed by the LAND group.
